Service SYNC is installed on mobile devices. Using the built-in GPS functionality of modern phones, Service SYNC will periodically download GPS location data, essentially latitude and longitude positioning, while a transaction is in progress. Note: Although Service SYNC only utilizes GPS for the duration of a transaction, continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.
